A-MAZ Household Water Stain Remover
Q. Will the Paste Clean that "rust ring" that I get in my toilet?
A. Iron, other mineral deposits, and soil can become etched into surface over time. These stains may be difficult, but not impossible to remove. Our experience has been that using heavy duty grit or pumice stone along with the remover is really the only effective way to remove the stain on a porcelain surface. Lower the water level. This is done by turning off the water (turn the spigot under the toilet) and flushing. Apply a generous amount of paste over the ring and let stand for a minute. If you are using a pumice stone, wet it first before dipping into the paste. Rub until no longer visible. Fill the tank (toilet) and flush clear. We recommend that you apply silicon sealant immediately for long lasting protection. To apply the sealant, lower the water and use a damp cloth to spread several drops into the area where the stain had appeared. Continue rubbing until surface appears smooth to the touch. The sealant lasts about 2 to 3 months and keeps the ring from reappearing during this time frame. If the ring happens to reappear, repeat this process.

Q. Will this product work on clear glass?
A. Absolutely! This product was designed to be used safely on clear glass. There is no gritty pumice or harsh chemical. A-MAZ Water Stain Remover will remove spots, film or crusty build from shower doors or safety glass. A light duty pad is helpful. In fact, this product works so well, you'll be wondering if you left the window rolled down!

Q. Is A-MAZ Water Stain Remover also good for pool tile?
A. The accumulative effects of hard water, oxidation, and exposure to the elements often leave your pool tile dull. This is a common problem with pool owners everywhere. We recommend using a buffing tool with paste to bring back that "shiny" color. The buffer can be improvised by using one of our "light duty" pads with a drill attachment for sanding disc. Black and Decker makes a product called "The Scum Buster" which is also helpful for this purpose. The buffing tool can also be used when cleaning large areas such as plate glass windows, or bathtubs and shower enclosures. When using a high speed buffer, keep the setting on low and make sure to keep the paste moist with a spray bottle of water. Don't forget to seal up the surface afterwards with A-MAZ sealant. Don't seal the bottom of your tub, as this tends to make the surface slippery.

Q. I have a fiberglass tub enclosure. Is this product safe to use?
A. Absolutely! This product was designed to be used safely on glass and fiberglass tubs. There is no gritty pumice or chloride in our product, so it is safe to use. When using on fiberglass tubs, test an area to insure the tub is up to the cleaning. Some old tubs are worn past the point of cleaning or repair.

Q. Can I use WSR on Bullet Proof Glass?
A. No. Bullet proof glass is made from Laminated Polycarbonate and often goes by the brand name of Lexan, Tuffack, or Cyrolon. Also, some bathroom shower doors are made from similar materials to prevent shattering if broken. Unfortunately, doors made from this material will absorb moister and etch the glass, making it extremely difficult to clean.

A-MAZ Clean and Clear Ultra Gloss Sealant
Q. How often should I use the sealant?
A. For shower doors the sealant lasts from 6 month to a year: on house windows and car windows, a year or more! Some Factors can influence the length of these general guidelines, so if you notice the stain returning reapply at that time.

Q. How many applications does it take to get a good seal?
A. We recommend 2 applications to ensure a complete coverage of the area that you are sealing.

Q. What happens if I use too much sealant?
A. The sealant is very concentrated with one drop being sufficient to cover 8 to 9 square inches. If too much sealant is used, it tends to smear around because all the pores and microscopic etched areas become filled and there is no place for the excess to go. If this is the case, it will become necessary to remove any excess (using the paste), and then reapply sparingly.

Q. Can I use this in my carpet cleaning machine, and will it discolor or fade the carpet?
A. Because our All Purpose Cleaner is “Citric Based", and has no bleach or discoloring agent, it will not fade or remove the color from your carpet. The formula is "low" sudsing so it can be used in the carpet cleaning machine replacing the need for costly, shampoos and degreasers. Simply replace the fill level of your machine with an equal amount of A-MAZ, and prepare to be A-MAZED! Use the product full strength on heavily soiled areas as a pre-stain remover.
